Mushroom Foraging Days
A day of mushroom foraging in West Berkshire.
Led by Matthew with his 30 years experience of foraging, our courses run from late September to November depending on the mushroom season.

On The Day
We meet at Sadgrove farm in the morning for a coffee and a run through of the day, discussing what we hope to find and where to find them.
We then go foraging for three to four hours in different woods, identifying everything we go. Hopefully we find some edible ones which we can pick and take back with us.
Once back at Sadgrove we clean all the mushrooms that we found and go through what we saw during the day.
The day is concluded with a two course lunch cooked over the fire with the mushrooms as the star of the show.

The cost is £180pp (inc. VAT).

If you can't make it on the day, you can roll it over to another date.

Suitable attire is required depending on the weather and taking into account that we will be in the woods for a few hours. We suggest wellies or walking boots as the wood can be muddy and uneven under foot.
